Milen is a creative Landscape Architect with a passion for creating smart and beautiful places through direct communication with clients. He is bringing his big ideas and a wealth of experience to deliver professional design solutions, which are bold, sustainable and robust to meet client requirements.
Milen is a Landscape Architect with experience in the UK and internationally (Europe, North Africa and the Middle East). Having worked in various multi-disciplinary environments from an early point in his career, he has established strong communication, design and technical skills. Milen also applies his sound knowledge in horticulture in his project work and before moving to the UK he worked in the private and public sector in Bulgaria, including as a landscape contractor.
Prior to working as a sole practitioner, Milen worked in a number of practices in London. His experience spans a variety of projects including high-profile (HS2-OOC), infrastructure, mixed-use, commercial and hospitality schemes where he applies his creative design approach to complement a clear structured way of working to ensure the efficient completion of projects’ scope of work. He is experienced in all design stages from concept to construction.
Milen is developing his 3D design skills to contribute to the industry's migration to BIM ways of working.

Efficiency - Implementing and delivering creative and innovative solutions in all aspects of work - from optimising administrative tasks through the use of smart softwares, though to moving the industry forward with the use of BIM processes in project work.

The assessment work of MNNSP is usually in the form of Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIAs) as part of the wider EIA process, or Landscape and Visual Appraisals (LVA).
MNNSP can also help with Equality Impact Assessments (EqIA) for various types of developments including residential, mixed-use, etc.
The design work of MNNSP covers all work stages from inception to construction for any scale or complexity of a project, spanning private gardens to nationally significant infrastructure projects.
The main environmental challenges the design work of MNNSP addresses are climate change, biodiversity,
protection and conservation of the natural and built environment.
MNNSP offers expertise in site planning, green infrastructure and placemaking and can prepare landscape-led masterplans of new neighbourhoods, residential settlements, and city centres.
